President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang after their meeting in Akorda. In his post on X, he noted the value of Huang's ideas on the application of artificial intelligence in Kazakhstan's economy, especially in agriculture. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
"I thank Jensen Huang for the productive meeting and discussions in Akorda on advancing AI and its practical application in Kazakhstan's economy, especially in agriculture. Your ideas and advice are of great practical value to us," Tokayev wrote.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that at the meeting with the president on October 23, Huang proposed making Kazakhstan a global hub for Physical AI — artificial intelligence for robots and other systems interacting with the physical world. He noted the country's energy resources and the potential of its specialists. Tokayev, in turn, welcomed NVIDIA's partnership with the Kazakh startup Higgsfield.
Following the meeting, the president awarded Huang the Order of Dostyk (Friendship) of the first degree for his contribution to the development of artificial intelligence in Kazakhstan.
