President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a decree on the early termination of powers of maslikhats at all levels. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the Akorda statement, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in accordance with paragraph 5 of Article 88 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, after consultations with Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and Chairman of the Kurultai Aibek Dadebai, signed the Decree "On the early termination of powers of maslikhats at all levels."
The Central Election Commission has been instructed to take measures to call, organize preparations for, and hold early elections of deputies of maslikhats at all levels.
