President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has appointed the chairmen of the Constitutional Court, the Central Election Commission and the Supreme Audit Chamber. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the Akorda, all three office holders retained their positions.
Constitutional Court Chairman
By a corresponding decree, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev appointed Elvira Azimova as Chairman of the Constitutional Court.
Central Election Commission Chairman
In addition, Nurlan Abdirov retained his post. He was appointed Chairman of the Central Election Commission. Abdirov was appointed to this position in January 2022.
Supreme Audit Chamber Chairman
Alikhan Smailov was also reappointed as Chairman of the Supreme Audit Chamber. Alikhan Smailov has held this position since April 2024. Prior to that, he served as Prime Minister.
