A meeting on the development of the national economy and budget planning was held in the Akorda under the chairmanship of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the President was briefed on the current state of the economy, presented with forecasts of socio-economic development for 2027-2029, and parameters of the republican budget for 2027-2029.
During the discussion, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the need to achieve economic growth indicators this year, as well as to ensure the balance of the republican and local budgets.
The Head of State stated that one of the main priorities of the budget for 2027-2029 is to accelerate the construction of infrastructure and social facilities such as hospitals, children's rehabilitation centers, cultural and sports buildings.
