President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed condolences to the family of war and labor veteran, People's Hero Ivan Gapich, following his passing. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Ivan Stepanovich volunteered for the front and served as a signalman until the end of the war. After returning home, he served impeccably in the prosecutor's office for many years.
"As a person who never deviated from the principles of humanity and a true master of his craft, he earned great respect and honor among colleagues and the public," the telegram reads.
Tokayev noted that Ivan Stepanovich demonstrated a high example of constructive patriotism, loyalty to the oath, and steadfast adherence to the values of justice throughout his life.
"His bright image will forever remain in our memory," the president said.
