Kassym-Jomart Tokayev awarded the President of the Federal Republic of Germany the Altyn Qyran Order. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
At the award ceremony, the head of state noted President Frank-Walter Steinmeier's significant contribution to strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany.
"Your wise leadership, firm stance and commitment to dialogue and unity deserve deep respect. This has strengthened the confidence of partners around the world in Germany and opened the way for interaction. Today Germany is one of the leading innovative countries in production, science and technology, developing dynamically," the President said.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted Frank-Walter Steinmeier's role in advancing bilateral relations.
"Mr. President, we highly value you as a loyal and reliable friend of Kazakhstan, an outstanding statesman of international stature. Taking into account your substantial contribution to strengthening friendship between Kazakhstan and Germany and revitalizing our cooperation, I present you with the highest state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Altyn Qyran Order. Please accept this award as a sign of the special respect and sincere gratitude of the Kazakh people," Tokayev said.
