President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Kazakhstanis on Labor Day. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the Akorda, the head of state noted that this holiday is a day of honoring and respecting representatives of various professions who, through their talent, intellect and hard work, make a great contribution to the prosperity of our sacred Motherland.
"Being a professional who thoroughly masters one's craft is the most important requirement of our time. Thanks to qualified, highly responsible, hardworking and disciplined citizens, many countries, including Kazakhstan, are achieving great socio-economic success," the head of state said.
Tokayev noted that today Kazakhstan has stepped into a new historical stage, and large-scale tasks lie ahead. He also recalled that a new ethic — "Honest person — Honest work — Honest income" — is taking shape in our society, and that last year we celebrated the Year of Working Professions.
"The state will continue to create favorable conditions for the comprehensive development of our citizens. Providing professional education to young people, honing their labor skills, as well as instilling in the younger generation the rich life experience and lessons of the older generation — is a most important task. It is clear that a country whose youth are creative will have both a bright future and dynamic development," the president said.
Tokayev expressed confidence that Kazakhstan, as a united nation with harmony and common goals, will become a country where the values of justice, care for nature, the rule of law, prosperity and, most importantly, hard work are firmly established in practice.
