Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the Kazakhstan team on their outstanding victory in the mixed team competition at the Junior World Judo Championship in Guayaquil, Ecuador, as well as Gabit Rasulkhan, Fatima Supygaliyeva, and Adilzhan Zhaudinov on winning gold medals in individual events.
The President wished the young champions a bright sports career and new achievements.
Kazakhstani judokas won 4 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze medals – 11 in total – at the World Championship, achieving the best result in the history of national judo.
Yesterday evening, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev spoke with the President of the International Judo Federation, Marius Vizer. The head of the organization congratulated the Head of State on the unprecedented victory of our wrestlers at the World Junior Tournament.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed gratitude to the head of the international organization for constructive cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan, as well as with the national federation, noting that judo is widely developing in the country as a result.
