Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay an official visit to Brussels on June 22-23 at the invitation of European Council President António Costa. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During the visit, Tokayev is scheduled to hold talks with European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The parties will discuss prospects for strengthening expanded partnership and cooperation between Kazakhstan and the European Union.
In addition, the Head of State will meet with Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever. The program also includes a speech by Tokayev at the Kazakhstan–EU roundtable with the participation of leaders of major European companies and a number of other meetings.
