ASTANA, June 22. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who is on an official visit to Brussels, met with Kazakh citizens currently studying and working in Belgium. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During the conversation, the head of state congratulated his compatriots on the adoption of the new Constitution. "At the national referendum, our people unanimously, as a single society, supported our Constitution. It is a wonderful document that will come into force on July 1. Our Fundamental Law will become a guiding star for the people. Therefore, I sincerely congratulate all of you on the adoption of the new Constitution," the president said.
In addition, the president expressed support for compatriots studying and working abroad. He noted that the country needs educated, open-minded and conscious young people.
