President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on his election as President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
In his congratulatory telegram, Tokayev wished the new head of state successful implementation of plans and initiatives aimed at the socio-economic development of the country and improving the well-being of the population.
"I confirm my readiness for joint work to further strengthen cooperation based on ties of friendship and mutual understanding," the telegram reads.
The President of Kazakhstan also wished Alamgir success in his work and the people of Bangladesh well-being and prosperity.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar and the people of the country on the national holiday - St. Stephen's Day. In his message, the head of state noted his commitment to further strengthening Kazakh-Hungarian partnership and wished the Hungarian people prosperity and well-being.
