President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has proposed introducing a higher tax rate for wealthy individuals. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During today's Address, the president focused specifically on the fairness of taxation.
"I think the time has come to consider the issue of introducing a higher tax rate for people with large property holdings. I would like to emphasize this," Tokayev said.
