President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the executive director of the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United States, as well as issues of implementing DFC projects in Kazakhstan. President Tokayev emphasized the importance of US companies' participation in Kazakhstan's economy.
The DFC executive director, in turn, noted the improvement of the investment climate in Kazakhstan and the corporation's readiness to support new projects. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue mutually beneficial cooperation.
