Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will visit Turkey on October 29, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"On Wednesday in Ankara we will receive Mr. President Tokayev of Kazakhstan. We will celebrate the 103rd anniversary of our republic with esteemed guests from the Turkic world," Erdogan said.
Turkey will hold another important event, Erdogan wrote on his social media page.
"On Friday, October 30, we will hold the 13th summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Ankara, which we consider our family council. I believe we will once again be in unity and full solidarity against those who try to destroy the unshakable brotherhood in the Turkic world," the Turkish leader said.
In August, the presidents of Kazakhstan and Turkey spoke by phone.
"The head of state gratefully accepted Recep Tayyip Erdogan's invitation to participate in a number of important high-level meetings planned in Turkey this year," Akorda said at the time.
Erdogan paid a state visit to Kazakhstan in May 2026. The leaders held a number of negotiations on economic issues and also took part via video conference in the opening ceremony of the Khoja Ahmed Yasawi school in Turkey.
