"In this difficult moment, sharing the pain of irreparable loss, I express my condolences to you, to the families who have lost loved ones, and to the entire friendly people of Venezuela. I wish the relatives and friends of those who died as a result of the natural disaster resilience and strength of spirit, and the injured a speedy recovery and a safe return to their families," the telegram reads.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that as a result of two powerful earthquakes in Venezuela, 188 people died, another 1,520 were injured, and nearly 40,000 people are listed as missing.
