President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed a package of amendments that introduce changes to various areas of the country's legislation. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the Akorda press service, the president signed:
- 01The Law "On introducing amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of improving criminal legislation." This document introduces changes to the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code.
- 02The Law "On introducing amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of improving environmental legislation." This document is aimed at improving environmental regulation.
- 03The Law "On introducing amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of improving legislation in the field of communications." This document updates regulation in the communications sector.
The texts of all signed laws are published in print.

These changes are aimed at improving the country's legal system and enhancing regulation in the environmental and communications sectors.
