Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held an informal meeting with European Council President António Costa on the eve of negotiations with the European Union leadership. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that Tokayev had made an official visit to Brussels, where he met with Kazakhstani students and workers in Belgium.
Additionally, an international business conference titled "Strengthening Connectivity between Kazakhstan and the EU: Prospects and Strategic Potential of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR)" was held in Brussels. It was organized by JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kingdom of Belgium. The practical outcome of the forum was the signing of four agreements totaling $462 million.
