Kazakhstan must fully transition from traditional bureaucracy to automated digital services. This was stated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the final joint session of the Parliament chambers. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to him, digital transformation in Kazakhstan should involve everyone: from top-level managers and civil servants to rural akims.
"Digital transformation is an absolutely open and dynamic process covering the entire vertical of governance and even broad segments of the population," the president said.
The head of state also added that the logic of public administration in Kazakhstan must be radically restructured. It is necessary to move away from bureaucracy and move towards a highly efficient digital state.
"We need to make a decisive transition from traditional bureaucracy to a state as a platform — GovTech. Our ultimate goal is to build a progressive digital state rooted in the global technological landscape, capable of convincingly defending and promoting national interests and serving citizens impeccably," he concluded.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that Tokayev warned future deputies of the Kurultai.
