Bozumbayev reported to Tokayev on the results of the Alatau City Roadshow held in China. According to Akorda, the international presentation resulted in the signing of 30 agreements and memorandums totaling $6.4 billion.
The Deputy Prime Minister also reported on work plans taking into account the president's instructions given during a recent trip to the Almaty region.
Separately, the parties discussed the implementation of projects in the field of water resources, including the modernization of hydraulic structures, construction of new reservoirs and canals.
In addition, the meeting reviewed the progress of the national project "Modernization of the Energy and Utility Sectors."
According to Akorda, in 2026, more than 1.1 trillion tenge will be allocated for the renewal of housing and communal infrastructure. The statement notes that this is a record amount of funding since independence.
Tokayev also instructed to keep a special control over the vegetation period, especially in the southern regions of the country.
Furthermore, the president pointed out the need for broader involvement of domestic producers in projects to modernize energy and utility infrastructure.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that strategic documents for the new city of Alatau will be adopted for a long-term period, and changes will not be made to them for at least 5-10 years.
