In Almaty, two girls who used foul language during a livestream on the TikTok social network were held administratively liable. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
A video of the two girls using foul language during a livestream spread on social networks. During the check, it was established that the video was filmed on the territory of a car market.
The TikTok livestream involved 19-year-old Zhuldyzai Muratbayeva and 21-year-old Gulmira Kanatova. On this fact, an administrative offense case was opened against both girls. By court decision, each of the offenders was sentenced to administrative arrest for five days.
«Public places, including social networks and livestreams, do not exempt citizens from liability for violating public order. In this case, the unlawful act was captured on video, the identities of the livestream participants were established, and the collected materials were sent to court. The type of administrative punishment was determined by the court», — said Timur Nogaybayev, head of the public security department of the Almaty city police.
Police remind that social networks are not a zone free from responsibility. The law provides for corresponding liability for actions that violate public order and contradict the requirements of administrative legislation.
