TikTok removed more than 1.28 million videos in Kazakhstan in the first quarter of 2026. The platform detected most violations before users could report them. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to TikTok's Community Guidelines Enforcement Report, from January to March 2026, 1.28 million videos violating platform rules were removed in Kazakhstan. Of these, 99.4% were detected automatically, before any user reports. Additionally, 95.6% of such content was removed within the first 24 hours of publication.
Globally, TikTok removed over 184 million videos in the same period. Of these, 99.3% were detected by the platform itself, and 94.4% were removed within 24 hours of publication.
"In 2026, TikTok continues to improve approaches to user safety and expand the use of artificial intelligence in content moderation. Today, automated systems, including AI technologies, account for more than 96% of all content removals on the platform, allowing for the fastest possible detection of publications that violate its requirements," said a TikTok press release.
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported on how bloggers on TikTok are revealing Kazakhstan's cultural code to the world.
