In Temirtau, Karaganda Region, firefighters removed a 50-liter gas cylinder from a burning outbuilding and protected two neighboring residential houses. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire on Elektrikov Street was completely extinguished, and there were no casualties.
The wooden structures of an outbuilding attached to a private house caught fire. When emergency services arrived at the scene, the structure was already burning with open flames. The fire area was 120 square meters.
"During the extinguishing, rescuers removed a 50-liter household gas cylinder from the burning building, preventing a possible explosion," the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Firefighters also managed to prevent the fire from spreading to two nearby private residential houses.
