Train tickets discounted by 20–30%

The national carrier offers autumn discounts of 20% to 30% on train tickets. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Passenger Transportation JSC offers autumn discounts on train tickets starting September 19. Passengers can purchase tickets for certain cars on a number of routes at a discount of 20% to 30%.

Routes covered by the discounts

The discounts apply to trains departing from Monday to Thursday:

• 01No. 77/78 Almaty – Mangystau. Car type: compartment. Discount: 20%.
• 02No. 9/10 Astana – Almaty. Car type: car with seats. Discount: 30%.
• 03No. 67/68 Astana – Oskemen. Car type: car with seats. Discount: 30%.
• 04No. 65/66 Astana – Kyzylorda. Car type: tourist (compartment). Discount: 25%.
• 05No. 11/12 Almaty – Shymkent. Car type: tourist (compartment). Discount: 20%.
• 06No. 25/26 Almaty – Shymkent. Car type: tourist (compartment). Discount: 20%.

The discount amount depends on the selected train and car type. The special offer applies from September 19 to the above trains departing from Monday to Thursday.
