In Tekeli, Zhetysu region, firefighters rescued a cat and a dog from a burning apartment. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire occurred on the fourth floor of a five-story building on Al-Farabi Street.

Before the arrival of rescuers, 23 people left the building on their own. During reconnaissance, firefighters discovered the pets and carried them out of the danger zone.

"The fire was extinguished over an area of 12 square meters. There are no casualties. The cause of the fire is being established," the Ministry reported.
