Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding took over New York City on Friday, as the star-studded ceremony drew dozens of fans outside Madison Square Garden. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing BBC News.

The two-day event shut down one of the busiest areas of New York, with a barrage of A-list celebrities, such as Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello, Hugh Grant, Gracie Abrams, Ellie Goulding, Graham Norton and Dakota Johnson, on the guest list.

No official pictures from inside the venue have been released, and many of the estimated 1,000 attendees entered without being photographed, but some were spotted on their way in and out.

Hordes of fans braved sweltering temperatures behind barricades surrounding the stadium. The couple's nuptials were confirmed outside the stadium at around 19:30 local time, with an announcement that read: "JUST&T MARRIED!"

Outside the stadium, there was a buzz of excitement. One fan vowed to chant Taylor Swift's name outside the venue 100,000 times and stream it live on YouTube.

Guests included: singer Benson Boone, supermodel Karlie Kloss, Ted Lasso actor Jason Sudeikis, actor Ethan Hawke, former US football player Abby Wambach, author Glennon Doyle, NFL players Cooper Kupp and Isiah Pacheco, Swift's childhood friend Abigail Anderson, US television presenter Jimmy Fallon, Irish actor Andrew Scott, model Gigi Hadid, actor Bradley Cooper, actress Jessica Alba, and actor Danny Ramirez.

Dozens of police officers were deployed to patrol the stadium and its surroundings.
