A police officer in Texas rescued a driver seconds before his car was engulfed in flames near Dallas. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing BBC News.
Corporal Joshua Swisher was conducting a traffic stop on a motorway when he was alerted to a nearby vehicle emitting smoke. Shortly after directing the vehicle to the emergency lane, flames erupted from underneath it while the driver was still inside.
Newly-released footage shows the incident, which happened on 7 June. The footage comes from bodycam and dashcam cameras. The driver survived thanks to the officer's quick actions.
