A foreign passenger was removed from the Tbilisi-Astana flight for violating the rules of conduct on board the aircraft. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to the Department of Transport Police, the man was caught smoking during the flight.

"During the inspection, transport police identified a 38-year-old citizen of Great Britain who, during the flight, smoked an electronic cigarette in the aircraft toilet, ignoring the existing ban and aviation safety requirements," the department reported.

The foreigner was removed from the flight by act of the aircraft commander. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
