New measures are being taken in Kazakhstan to ensure the safety of tourists in mountainous areas. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan reported that special emergency supply boxes for tourists are being installed in the highlands on new modular houses of observation posts of the State Institution "Kazselizashchita". In case of an unforeseen situation, a tourist will be able to use water and heating supplies until help arrives or communication with relatives is restored.
The boxes are marked in three languages and are intended for those who, having lost their bearings in the mountains, reached the observation post of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"The boxes contain an emergency supply that includes 10 liters of drinking water, a bundle of firewood, a first aid kit, two daily food rations, as well as various types of food: three types of porridge, two types of stew, crackers and salt. In addition, the boxes include matches and a can opener," the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Creating such supplies is an additional safety measure in the highlands. This is especially important in conditions of sudden weather changes, loss of orientation, or other unforeseen circumstances that may arise during mountain hikes. The presence of such boxes can save lives.
Earlier, Kursiv wrote that a viewing platform is being built at the "Hobbit Waterfall" near Almaty. This is also one of the measures aimed at improving the safety and comfort of tourists.
Currently, Kazakhstan pays special attention to the development of mountain tourism. The state is taking various measures to ensure the safety of tourists. In this regard, work continues on modernizing observation posts in mountainous areas and equipping them with the necessary equipment.
Emergency Ministry specialists recommend that tourists familiarize themselves with safety rules and purchase the necessary equipment before going to the mountains. It is also important to have communication devices with you and inform relatives about the route.
The installation of emergency supply boxes is another step in improving the safety system in mountainous areas. This measure is expected to help save the lives of tourists in emergency situations.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan is implementing this initiative jointly with the institution "Kazselizashchita". New modular houses of observation posts are equipped in accordance with modern requirements. They are designed to monitor dangerous situations in mountainous areas and provide assistance to tourists.
Information about the installation of emergency supply boxes for tourists is very important for those involved in mountain tourism. It increases their safety in the mountains and allows them to find the necessary means in unforeseen situations.
The mountainous regions of Kazakhstan are one of the popular places among tourists. Especially the mountains of the Almaty region attract thousands of tourists every year. In this regard, strengthening security measures is one of the main priorities.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to install emergency supply boxes at observation posts in mountainous areas. This work will continue in the future. Ensuring the safety of tourists is one of the main tasks of the state.
In conclusion, emergency supply boxes in the mountains are an important step in ensuring the safety of tourists. This measure will help save lives in emergency situations in mountainous areas. Tourists are advised to find out in advance about the location of these boxes before going to the mountains.
