India's pollution control body has alleged that Tata's iPhone parts factory contaminated groundwater, damaging agricultural land. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Reuters.
According to the allegation, waste from the factory seeped into the groundwater, polluting water used for irrigation on nearby farms. This could affect crops grown by local farmers. The pollution body has demanded that the factory be shut down.
