The board of Indian holding company Tata Sons has approved a fresh five-year term for Chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Reuters.
The decision was made by the board of directors, according to a source close to the agency. Chandrasekaran will therefore remain chairman of Tata Sons for another five years.
The move is seen as a step to maintain management stability for the Tata group, one of India's largest conglomerates. No further details have been released so far.
