The No. 2 court of Taraz found a ticket clerk at Taraz station guilty of repeated fraud using her official position. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The court established that when issuing travel documents, she sold tickets by dividing the route into separate segments instead of a direct flight, thereby appropriating the difference between the actual cost of travel and the money left to her.

As a result of the fraud, three passengers suffered material damage. The state prosecution was supported by the transport prosecutor's office. The court imposed a fine of 248,430 tenge and deprived her of the right to hold positions related to funds and material assets for a period of 3 years.
