The national railway operator has announced a 20% summer discount on popular tourist routes. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
"From June 25 to 30, 2026, JSC 'Passenger Transportation' offers a 20% discount on tickets for 'Tourist' class carriages on Talgo trains No. 207/208 and No. 211/212 operating on the Almaty-Dostyk route," the statement said.
The company noted that the special offer applies to both lower and upper berths. The route passes through the Zhetysu region and is an excellent choice for traveling to Lake Alakol during the summer season, the company said.
Tickets can be purchased on the official website bilet.railways.kz, at the ticket offices of JSC "Passenger Transportation," and through mobile ticket sales services.
