Today, the application process for the August Unified National Test has begun. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Applications are accepted until August 5. The test itself will take place from August 10 to 15. Registration for the UNT is conducted on the website of the National Testing Center at app.testcenter.kz.
The cost of participation in the test is 5,640 tenge. Participants of the August UNT include: graduates of schools and colleges of the current and previous years; oralmans (ethnic Kazakhs who are not citizens of Kazakhstan); graduates of secondary educational institutions who studied abroad; students wishing to transfer to specialties other than creative ones; students conditionally admitted to higher education institutions.
Participants of the UNT can change the combination of core subjects in the August test. College graduates are admitted based on interview results. It is worth noting that the August UNT provides another opportunity for applicants who did not score the threshold score. They can retake the test and enroll in a university on a paid basis.
