Kazakhstan has launched the national unified testing that allows admission to paid departments. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The August UNT will last until August 14. During this time, more than 30,000 applicants have applied to take the test.
Of these, 65% intend to score the required points in Kazakh, 35% in Russian, and 100 people in English.
Who participates in the UNT
- 01graduates of schools and colleges of the current and previous years;
- 02oralmans (ethnic Kazakhs repatriated to Kazakhstan);
- 03graduates who received secondary education abroad;
- 04students wishing to transfer from creative educational programs to other training areas;
- 05students wishing to transfer from other educational programs to pedagogical areas;
- 06persons who did not score the threshold score in the previous academic year and were admitted to universities on a paid basis.
In addition, college graduates planning to continue their education at a university in their specialty on a paid basis can enroll based on interview results.
"In this case, admission is carried out by the admissions committees of universities," the official statement says.
