The weather forecast for August in Kazakhstan has been announced. According to meteorologists, in the last month of summer, the southern and western parts of the country will be mostly hot, while the northern half will be rainy, with thunderstorms and relatively cooler temperatures. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In the first ten days of August, most of Kazakhstan will experience changeable weather. Thunderstorms, rain, gusty winds, and possibly hail are expected. In some places in the north, center, and east of the country, as well as in the mountainous and foothill areas of the southeast in the middle of the period, heavy rain is forecast.
However, from the middle of the first ten days, precipitation is expected to briefly stop in the western half and center of the republic.
Temperature regime
In the first ten days of August, in the west and northwest of Kazakhstan, daytime air temperatures will rise from +25+35°C to +34+39°C, and in the south of Atyrau region — up to +41°C. In Mangystau region, thermometers will show from +35+40°C to +39+44°C.
In the north and Kostanay region, daytime temperatures will drop from +25+35°C to +20+28°C, and at the end of the ten-day period it will become hot again, up to +30+38°C. In the south, temperatures will decrease from +39+44°C to +29+36°C.
In the center and east, after intense heat of +33+41°C, the mercury will drop to +22+31°C. In the southeast, temperatures will be +34+39°C, and in Zhambyl region — from +42°C to +27+35°C.
Second and third ten-day periods
In the second and third ten-day periods of August, in the northern half of the republic, night temperatures will rise from +3+8°C to +10+18°C, and daytime from +17+25°C to +25+35°C. In the west and southern half of the country, night temperatures will drop from +17+27°C to +13+18°C, and daytime from +32+42°C to +25+35°C.
