The first regional campus of the free programming and artificial intelligence school Tomorrow School has opened in the Zhetysu region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The campus started operating in Taldykorgan on the basis of the "Zhetisu zhastary" center with the support of the regional digital technologies department and the Jetisu Digital IT hub.
Fifty computers with the necessary software have been prepared for training. The school will operate around the clock in four streams, with classes starting on September 28.
Aydin Temirbayev, head of the regional digital technologies department, noted that participants over 15 years old can undergo training. Specialized education and IT experience are not required.
"This is a great opportunity for participants over 15 to undergo free practical training in programming and artificial intelligence. The school will operate 24/7 in four streams. Classes will start on September 28," Temirbayev said.
To enroll in Tomorrow School, you need to register on the project's website, select a campus, fill out an application, and pass two online games for memory and logic. Successful candidates will be invited to a four-week intensive.
After the intensive course, the best participants will be able to move on to the main program lasting 18 months. Training is conducted in person, without traditional lectures and teachers: students independently study materials, work in teams, check each other's assignments, and complete more than 50 practical projects in programming and artificial intelligence.
Aigerim Shaimerdenova, head of Tomorrow School, emphasized that prior programming experience is not required for admission.
The Tomorrow School was founded in 2024 on the basis of Astana Hub, and now the project is scaling across regions of Kazakhstan.
