According to a relative of the victim, the woman's husband had previously beaten and intimidated her several times. The man claimed he would avoid responsibility through his financial means and connections, keeping his wife in fear.
Night conflict
On the night of October 2, the man started a quarrel because his one-year-old son would not sleep. According to the reported information, during the argument he beat his wife until 4 a.m.
It is also reported that he attacked neighbors who came to help with a cold weapon.
Police statement
According to the police department of the Zhetisu region, the woman turned to the police that same day, saying her husband had inflicted bodily injuries on her and threatened her. Police officers immediately arrived at the scene, and the man was detained.
A pneumatic weapon was seized from him. Criminal cases have been opened on the facts of inflicting bodily injuries and threats.
"Previously, no complaints had been received from the victim. The suspect has now been placed in a temporary detention facility," police said.

After examination by doctors, the woman and her child were placed in a crisis center, where they were provided with the necessary assistance.
