Finance Minister Madi Takiyev announced the amount of funds saved through digitalization. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Today, budget planning, public procurement, treasury execution and online monitoring are integrated into a single digital system. This makes it possible to track the movement of every tenge and assess the efficiency of budget spending.
"When planning the budget, thanks to the use of only fiscal data, up to 200 billion tenge is saved per year," Takiyev said at today's government meeting.
According to him, even more funds can be saved through advance management of expenditures.
"Today, when forming the budget for 2027-2029, expenditures worth 1.5 trillion tenge were prevented. That is, digitalization makes it possible not only to identify inefficient expenditures, but also to prevent them," the finance minister noted.
In addition, there are extra revenues thanks to digitalization. Currently their volume amounts to 410 billion tenge.
