Five security personnel were killed in an attack in southern Thailand. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Reuters.
The attack occurred on the morning of July 23 local time. Among the dead were police officers and military personnel. The injured were taken to hospital. It is not yet known who is responsible for the attack, but the region has seen previous attacks by separatist groups.
