A new deep-processing plant for chicken eggs with a capacity of 1 million eggs per day will be built in Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The investment project is initiated by KAZ Eggs LLP. The plant will be located in the village of Akmola, Tselinograd district, Akmola region.

"The total investment in the project will amount to 30 billion tenge," the statement said. The plant is scheduled to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2027.

The project will create 80 new jobs. "The implementation of the project will be an important step in the development of the domestic processing industry and will increase the production of high value-added products," the statement added.

The development of agricultural raw material processing is one of the priority areas for Kazakhstan's agro-industrial complex, the ministry reported.
