President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev made a number of personnel appointments. By decree of the head of state, Kanat Bozumbayev was reappointed to the post of Deputy Prime Minister. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Bozumbayev has held this position since 2024. In addition, Madi Takiyev retained the post of Minister of Finance. Takiyev headed the department in February 2024.
Nurlan Sauranbayev also remained in his post. He was appointed Minister of Transport in June 2025.
Tokayev also reappointed the head of the Ministry of Justice. The decree states: "By decree of the head of state, Yerlan Sarsembayev was appointed to the post of Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan." Sarsembayev was appointed to this post in January 2025.
All appointments were approved by relevant decrees.
