The republican preventive campaign 'Safety Azimuth' is underway, aimed at preventing accidents and deaths on water bodies, as well as increasing the culture of safe behavior among citizens. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
During the campaign, from July 1 to August 10, 610 administrative offenses were identified. Fines totaling 9,446,231 tenge were imposed on them, the department reports.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations urges citizens to relax only in designated areas, not to leave children unattended, to use life jackets, to follow the rules for operating small vessels, and not to go out on the water in case of adverse weather conditions.
