Ukrainian singer Svetlana Loboda and Kazakh performer Kairat Nurtas have released a joint music video for the song Sen meni küt ("Wait for Me"). This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The recording also featured performers JAMAL & GANJA. The video is done in a futuristic style, transporting viewers into a futuristic atmosphere. Throughout the clip, Loboda appears in several unusual looks, including a mermaid and a holographic projection. In the plot, the hero, played by Kairat Nurtas, tries to find and hold onto his beloved, but ends up alone in the finale.
The song's narrative revolves around a long-distance love story. The lyrical hero yearns for the girl, dreams of meeting her, and cannot stop thinking about her. At the same time, the heroine shows coldness and independence, making it clear she is not ready for a serious relationship and does not want emotional attachment.
Announcing the premiere, Svetlana Loboda admitted she had been waiting for the clip's release for a long time.
"True creativity is born from the union of opposites. Then nothing happens 'by default,' only from pure talent and love. That's exactly how we created our clip in Kazakhstan. A big, beautiful, bright experiment that allowed us not only to give you a new track and video but also to find friends and lots of inspiration along the way," the singer wrote.
The premiere was warmly received by fans. In comments, users called the clip a "masterpiece," noted the unusual visual presentation, and praised the duet of Loboda and Nurtas.
"Whatever you do, it's always gorgeous. Stylish. Luxurious";
"Thank you and Kairat for such an amazing duet";
"Insanely cool clip and very unusual," viewers wrote.
