Three children in the Mamlyut district of North Kazakhstan region were poisoned by berries while playing outside. They were taken to the regional children's hospital in Petropavlovsk. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the publication, the children tried wolf berries. Parents do not know how many they managed to eat. Initially, they sought help at the district hospital. After examination and tests, the children were transported to Petropavlovsk accompanied by a resuscitator.
The North Kazakhstan region health department reported that the condition of all three — a three-year-old child, a five-year-old girl and an eight-year-old child — is satisfactory.
"The three-year-old child is conscious, feels well, appetite is preserved. The condition of the five-year-old girl and the eight-year-old child is also satisfactory. The children are conscious and receiving necessary treatment," medics said.
All three remain under medical supervision.
