Kazakhstan has approved a unified procedure for forming sports delegations sent to the Olympics, Paralympics, Deaflympics and other major international competitions. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, now the number of coaches, specialists and other representatives in the delegation will be determined based on the number of athletes, the level and specifics of the competition, and the needs of the national team.

As stated in the ministry's message, at the Summer Olympics the share of ministry representatives will not exceed 3%, and representatives of the Committee on Sports and Physical Culture - 2%. At the Winter Olympics, these figures will be 10% and 8%, respectively.

The maximum quota is provided for coaches and specialists. Their share at the Summer Olympics can reach up to 86%, and at the Winter Olympics and Paralympics - up to 100%.

In addition, for accompanying persons for athletes with disabilities of the first group, a quota of up to 38% is established, for medical workers - up to 28% at the Summer Olympics and up to 23% at other competitions.

For representatives of national Olympic, Paralympic and Deaflympic committees, up to 13% of places are provided at the Summer Games and up to 40% at the Winter Games.
