The husband of paramedic Uldana Myrzuan attempted to renounce his victim status, but the court did not satisfy the request of Adilet Zeinep. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Thus, six people are recognized as victims in the case. Among them is Uldana's mother, Salima Yeshenkulova. The court noted that the request to renounce victim status can be submitted again.
The accused in the case is the chairwoman of the property owners' association (OSI), Saule Zhubaniyazova. She is charged with failure to maintain the building facade. The next court hearing will be held on August 20 in a live broadcast.
Recall that on November 8, 2025, in the capital, part of the brick cladding and an air conditioner unit fell from the facade of a residential complex, injuring several people. Among them were two paramedics who were on their way to perform their duties. 23-year-old Uldana Myrzuan died in the hospital on November 18.
