The heating season in Kazakhstan's northern and eastern regions is planned to start before October 1. This was announced by Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov at a government meeting. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the minister, in the northern and eastern regions, depending on weather indicators, the heating season is planned to start before October 1. In Pavlodar Region, the heating season began a week earlier.

According to him, in Petropavl all preparatory work is planned to be completed by the end of this week. In Semey, the completion level of work on three projects this week is 70%.
"In addition, water intake devices and heat exchangers are planned to be delivered on September 26. In this regard, the regional akimat needs to speed up the delivery of equipment," the minister noted.
Earlier, Bektenov warned that akims of regions where the heating season did not start on time would bear personal responsibility. This statement was published on September 16.
Thus, the government has taken strict control over the timing of the start of the heating season. The Ministry of Energy is coordinating preparatory work in the regions and clarifying the delivery dates for equipment.
