In the Zhambyl district of the North Kazakhstan region, a 34-year-old pregnant woman who needed emergency medical care has died. Relatives and local residents link the incident to the unsatisfactory condition of the road. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to published information, the woman began to experience severe bleeding. An ambulance headed to the patient along the road between the villages of Presnovka and Blagoveshchenka.

Due to the condition of the highway, the 37 km journey took about an hour and a half. Doctors were unable to provide the woman with the necessary assistance in time.

The deceased worked as a teacher, was involved in public activities, and raised two children. She was the only daughter in the family.

Relatives believe that a combination of reasons could have led to the woman's death, including possible violations in the provision of medical care. One of the key factors they cite is the long-term absence of a normal road between Presnovka and Blagoveshchenka.

Local residents have repeatedly appealed to government agencies about the condition of the highway. The authorities of the Zhambyl district had previously promised to complete road works in 2025, but by mid-July 2026, the section, according to the Telegram channel, has still not been repaired.

Official comments from the health department and the district akimat are not provided in the publication.

Earlier, Kursiv wrote about the condition of the road on the border of Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions. Motorists noted that after crossing the administrative border, the quality of the road surface deteriorates sharply.
