In the North Kazakhstan region, three railway stations have been put into operation after major repairs. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The Tayinsha station, built in 1958, originally had an area of 375 square meters. After major repairs, it expanded to 580 square meters. Currently, 12 passenger trains pass through this station, connecting the region with Astana, Almaty, Petropavlovsk, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, as well as Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

The Zhanaesil station is 66 years old this year. After major repairs, the building area increased from 429 to 570 square meters.

The third station is Saumalkol, with a 60-year history. The 207-square-meter building has been completely renovated.

It is worth noting that hundreds of stations across the republic are currently being repaired. The Prime Minister has set specific deadlines for completing these works.
