Three children have been poisoned by berries in the Mamlyut district of the North Kazakhstan region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the regional health department, three children from two families ate berries while playing outside. According to one of the fathers, it is unknown how many berries they ate.
The children were taken to the district hospital and later transferred to the regional hospital. The regional health department says the condition of all three children is currently satisfactory.
"The condition of the 3-year-old child is satisfactory, conscious, appetite is good. The condition of the 5-year-old child is also satisfactory. Consciousness is not impaired. The 8-year-old child is also feeling well and receiving treatment," the North Kazakhstan region health department said.
It is not yet known how long the children will remain in hospital.
